Course Overview
The Warehouse Worker Course is designed for new or experienced warehouse, logistics, and expedition employees. Participants learn how to safely and efficiently manage warehouse operations, including handling goods and using internal transport equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, and stackers.
 
By completing this course, you will become a competent warehouse worker, able to work safely and professionally in a warehouse environment. Successful participants will receive a Negu Training Center certificate valid for 5 years.
Target Group
This course is suitable for:
•New or prospective warehouse workers
•Logistics and expedition staff
•Order pickers and internal transport operators
 
Minimum age: 16 years
👉 Participants under 18 may only operate warehouse vehicles under supervision, in accordance with Dutch labour law.
Learning Outcomes
During this two-day course, participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, including:
•Dutch health & safety regulations (Arbo law)
•Identifying and managing risks in a warehouse
•Preparing and operating internal transport equipment safely
•Handling, loading, and unloading goods correctly
•Maintaining warehouse equipment
•Efficient and safe warehouse work practices
Course Schedule
Day 1: Theory & Basic Practice (09:00 – 15:00)
•Introduction and safety regulations
•Risk awareness and prevention
•Internal transport equipment operation (forklift, EPT, stacker)
•Goods handling and inventory management
•Basic practical exercises
 
Day 2: Practical Training & Exam (09:00 – 15:00)
•Advanced practical exercises with warehouse vehicles
•Safe order picking, loading, and unloading
•Stacking and moving goods safely
•Practical safety exercises
•Theory and practical exam
Certification
After successfully completing both the theory and practical exam, participants will receive the Negu Training Center Warehouse Worker Certificate, valid for 5 years. This certificate demonstrates that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely and professionally in a warehouse.
